Continuous wave
This is a 3D wall for the Spa in the Carlton Hotel in Tel Aviv. It is made by V-carve technique on the CNC.

Special request was to intgrate a fire-door, which closes automatically in case of emergency but need to show continuity in the pattern when open. In open position it is seamless integrated in the wall.

Bridges of glass

Glass bridges
The bridges connect the elevator shaft with the main atrium of the renewed building for the Ministery of Education and Finances in Eilat.

Counter Spa

Receptiondesk Esprit Spa
The Counter of the Spa is a basic desk, but with a light-box on top. This box is a reference to the Spa Wall, kept in the same line of design.

Translucent
By using Hi-Macs material from LG Hausys, you can play with the depth to reach the desired translucent effect.

Showroom Layout
The space is divided in six showing sections. Each section shows a different category of doors. In the middle a free standing element is particularly for Front doors on both sides.

The Showroom is designed in cooperation with E.K. Architects Ltd. / א.כ.אדריכלים (1997) בעמ together with Partouche Woodshop Ltd.

Flow
The Layout of the Showroom is based upon the idea to keep the sight-line form the Back Office to the entrance door free.
Space around the meeting spot is kept open to create a continuous flow.

Sample display
In the corner of the plan are two display furniture planned for showing Sinks, samples, color-palettes, materials and full size Carved Panels.

Showroom Ceiling
The top is not fully covered by a ceiling, but only part of it. Due to costs and functionality. A high space has a distinguished quality, but to keep the visitors focused on the doors, a lowered ceiling is planned.
The shape of this ceiling is following the flow of the Ground plan. Above the ceiling elements is the air-conditioning and light structure.

Diffuse light form the top will filter through the separate elements, and additional spots accentuate the single doors.

Ceiling parts
The flow scheme is ‘sliced’ into 63 sections for cutting by CNC. Each of the sections is numbered in the machine for mounting later.
To help the installing of the ceiling, the plan is divided in separate ‘islands’.

Showroom impression
In Eilat is a showroom designed of 100 sq. meters, mainly for selling doors of Pandor. Secondly, the showroom shows off the capabilities of 3D wall paneling. like in the back office. This wall is milled in 3D-paneling with CNC, based upon the same initial design for the Spa.

Ornamentation
The wall elements are covered with Niche elements on the side of the walls. They give light by TL-lighting behind a panel of Hi-macs.

Back Office
The walls of the office block are milled with CNC to give a special effect.
Lights in a niche in the ceiling brings the shadows in what give the wall depth.

Corner solution
The pattern is designed to leave no interrupting gap or disturbing pattern break. The wall goes around the corner without discontinuity in the pattern.

Design Patterns by Parameters
This is an experimental approach for generating graphics by changing parameters.
Finally, those patterns are meant for designing wall- or screenpanels.

It starts with a square which is divided into equal points in both UV directions.
From there some circles ‘grow’ with changing radi, and become tesselated figures.
In one example the figures shift and makes an interference pattern. In the oher the figures are decomposed in points which are being connected by lines based on proximity.
